With the warmer weather reaching Seattle, it reminds me of the Spring organizing I MEANT to do. The next few posts will feature projects Andrew and I did this past winter and spring (and maybe from the fall *don’t hate*).
This is a booklet we designed for the guys at Redbox Pictures, who, like Andrew and I are former P-Iers. And like tHE ART dept. studio, their namesake alludes to a relationship with the P-I. The ‘red box’ refers to the red newspaper boxes the P-I used to be sold from.
Despite all the newspaper history, we ditch the newsprint in favor of glossy cover stock with vellum sheets every other page that overlays their promotional text on top of their photos, but allows the images to shine on their own as well. And the booklet is put within a vellum envelope with their logo to complete the package.
